Lawn Care
We will work with you to establish a lawn maintenance routine. We provide weekly or bi-weekly lawn cuts, fertilizers (organic or traditional), lime, de-thatching, aeration, weeding, and grub control among our services. Let us create the green, healthy lawn you have always wanted.
Hydroseed and Sod
Hydroseeding is a planting process that uses a wet slurry of seed and mulch sprayed over the ground. Hydroseeding can be an effective way to cover a large area very quickly, and it can be very effective for hillsides and sloping lawns to help with erosion control. Hydroseeding's high germination rates produce grass growth in about a week and mowing maintenance beginning around 3 to 4 weeks from the date of application. Because of the quick germination, hydroseeding can be done in the spring. Traditional hand spreading of grass seed should take place in the fall, when sunny days and moist soil contribute to germination and allow the grass to establish itself while weeds are at a minimum. Sod (rolls of grass with the root system and soil attached) is a good choice any time you want to create an immediately flourishing lawn or patch a small area.
Mulch
We can provide wood mulches for your planting beds and borders. Mulch helps conserve moisture, improve the health of soil, reduce weed growth, and enhance the look of your yard. Mulches come in a variety of colors. We would be happy to show you samples.
Walkways, Paths, Patios, and Steps
Our masonry team can install or repair your patio, walkway, pathways, steps, and small driveway. We work with you to choose the pavers, bricks, or stones to create the patterns and shapes that will enhance your home and yard. Retaining Walls
Retaining walls can help level your yard by creating a series of level terraces. We can create retaining walls using interlocking blocks or natural stone. See the Gallery section for examples of our work. Contact us for an estimate for your yard regrading project.
Pruning, Planting, and Tree Removal
We work to keep your existing shrubs, hedges, and flowering trees pruned for shape, dense foliage, and healthy growth. We can also help you choose new shrubs or trees that are appropriate for your yard's light and soil conditions. Let us create a privacy hedge, enhance your home's foundation, or design for four-season foliage interest. We can also remove shrubs and small trees.
Irrigation Systems
Relying on natural rainfall may not be the best method of supplying water to your lawn. Depending on the type of grass and other plantings in your yard, a more reliable source of water may be required. A properly installed and maintained underground sprinkler system conserves water by directing it exactly where and when it is needed. Our irrigation system installers will design an array of sprinkler heads to reach every corner of your yard. We will also clear the lines and prepare the system for winter.
Spring and Fall Cleanups
Contact us to arrange for seasonal landscaping services. Spring services include: rake and remove winter debris, de-thatch lawn, prepare lawn for growing season, spread mulch. Fall cleanups include: rake and remove leaves, cut back perennials, final lawn cut to leave grass at appropriate height for winter, apply fertilizer as needed.
